Week 13 On Line Lecture

Over Thanksgiving I talked to my father, who is a dentist. In his profession, which on the surface does not seem like it would be a burgeoning field for technological advancement, he has actually seen a dramatic increase in the amount of new products available for dentists to use which capitalize on technological improvements to create a greater ease for dental procedures. As the sole owner of his office, my father seeks to continually have the best available technological products available for his patients. For example, this week is a major dental conference in New York City that will be showcasing an auction some of the newest technological equipment available to dentists. Many of these technologies capitalize on video and laser technology. My father feels a great personal responsibility to invest in these technologies for the sake of his patients and the pride of working in an environment that uses the most up to date services in patient care.
